Hogle Zoo

Here is just some more busy stuff we have been up to. We took Mak to the zoo while visiting Utah. He is the perfect little kid to take because he knows all the animals and the sounds they make and he is bursting with excitement to see anything. It was long and hot, and out of the three of us Mak was probably in the best mood leaving.

Crashing sticky and naked at the end of the day.
And this last one is at a Chuckars game

My big big boy

Mak is 18 months and so much fun. I never dreamed that this would be my life and such a happy one. Mak is still the cutest kid in the world and will be for about three more months when he will have to share the title with his brother. Mak talks non-stop, we have to be careful what we say around him because he picks up on everything, I can always tell when i have been grouchy because he will start mimicking my grumbles. So of his favorite things to say are "basketball, no baseball" "No no bad dog" "Hey mama wheres daddin" "night, night love you," baby, no big boy" and "hey animals" Mak is really tall and sure to be an athlete, he loves running races, and showing off. And he still LOVES eating everything from wasabi peas to beets. I am always shocked to watch him become his own little person he is such a good boy and tries so hard to please everyone. Mak is such a joy in our lives and we love him to pieces.

We are Still Alive

Wow it has been a month since my last post, which never happens. We are having a very busy summer and are rarely home, but we have had a blast, even with this crappy rain. Here are few pics of our summer.
We had a big barbeque with friends and we had a Pinata, Mak had become very attached to it and cried when the kids started hitting it, but he got over it.Candy came flying out, the surprise of Makrays life, he just sat down and started shoving all the candy he could into his mouth.

Trying out a super sonic War Head, it almost killed him but he got through it.Falling asleep in the laundry basket of all places.

Grandpa is Maks second favorite person, coming right behind his dad. They worked hard in the garden and fixing the sinks.

We went to the circus but it was pretty lame so here is just Mak at the circus.
The highlight was definetly the butterscotch puddingDespite the rain we have played in the water and taken a few dips in the pool. I think it was about 58 degrees here and the water was like 10 degrees.

Dave insisted I post this picture...because i caught the hugest fish ever at henry's lake and lets face it.... it is one of the proudest moments of my life.
Watching our cousins Cannon and Carter play baseball... they are AMAZING and undefeated, Makray idolizes them.

There is nothing better than coming home to find my boys cleaning house.

Just a little bit about what is going on with us. Mak is growing... still. He talks like crazy and has something to say about everything, my favorite thing he says right now is "hey mama, where is dadin?" He always calls me "hey mama" and i think it is hilarious. He is officially the size of a small three year old and has ALL yes ALL of his teeth except for his two year old molars so i am pretty pumped to be done with that.
Dave and I just had our three year anniversary and we couldnt be happier I dont think. We have the greatest time together and he is an incredible father so what more can i ask for.
Our the arrival of our tiniest little boy is coming up quick, we set a date with the doctor ALREADY (sep. 29 at 1 pm.) and i am so excited and horrified all at the same time. But he is big and strong and most importantly healthy.
