Happy Easter

We were lucky enough to spend the weekend with my parents in Burley where it is always a party.
We started off with a big easter hunt at the hospital... my first warning sign should have been there was five adults to every toddler.... Out of about a thousand eggs my boys ended up with two each. The parents there were very scary and aggressive, adults took eggs right out of our hands... so some people ended up with hundreds... and some of the more behaved people ended up with nothing. hahaha.... however... my boys are easy to please and were glad with their two little eggs.

Fortunately the easter doggy was there to soften the blow...

We drove out far out of the city to have our annual hot dog roast. Nothing makes little boys happier than an open field, tractors flames and marshmallows.

Papa and the boys filling a drill with seed.

Ahh.. yummy sticky marshmallows.

Of course we colored some eggs. Markay is very good at it... He is always so excited to help Grandma Jill with all of her "projects" as he calls them.

The finished product that Mak so generously donated to our potato salad and deviled eggs.

What's easter without newborn baby lambs. The boys love headin out with papa to see the lambies.

The boys cleaned sure cleaned up and our Easter was closer to Christmas.

OUR California Adventures

This is a major blog overload I just couldn't resist putting in every single picture I did. We were lucky enough to spend our Spring break in not so sunny, but sunnier than Idaho, CALIRFORNIA. We got to spend some fun time with David's fam, and did every activity in the book. Including: A day in each.... Disneyland, California Adventures, San Diego Zoo, and Sea World.

Emmett was crazy about the characters, we were shocked since we had such a bad santa experience. He was one of those kids elbowing other kids out of the way to get his turn.

How tired do you have to get to find this comfy?

The highlight of our lives hhahaha.
We waited 1 hr and 50 min to ride dumbo, but Mak had seen this ride on the internet and it was the one ride he felt he would die if we didnt get to try.

So happy that we are gritting our teeth and have a bit of the shakes... if you know my boys at all you know this is classic joy.

Mak was screaming "Shamu, Shamu!!!" as loud as anyone else in the park.

This was so exciting to feed the sealions, even though a bird tried to steal our fish. Mak told me his favorite part of seaworld was "When mom punched that bird who tried to steal my fish..." Yes no one messes with my babies so look out... hahaha.

The beach was a cool 54 degrees, but my boys BOTH bailed right into the ocean. We were so shocked... we had to run in and fish them out... Hence... Mak is running around in his underwear and emmett is wearing my sweatshirt.

It was such a LONG week, but the boys loved every second of it. There were no tears over long lines, or complaints over missed naps. They handled 14 hours of disneyland like PROS!!! It was so much fun and totally worth every sore foot and back to take them.

Tractors Tractors Tractors

Well since its January in Idaho.... there aren't a lot of options for entertainment. We were left with the Ag Expo... which turned out to be a lot more fun than we expected. So here are a ton of pics of my boys being real men.
This is Makray's good buddy Jacobe. Fortunately Jacobe was there because he knows EVERYTHING about tractors!
Yes we tried out EVERY SINGLE TRACTOR.

Is there anything better in this entire world than brothers? I have yet to see it.

Mak never forgets his brother, right now he is saying "Hurry up buddy I see a Green one."

The big boys up on a combine.... I think. HAHAHA anyway this is the perfect picture to me and the reason why I think I could have ten boys and live in my own little man world covered in pizza and tractors. I love boys stuff.
On another note.... last week i turned 24. I honestly never thought I would live to see the day. However it was an awesome day. Amongst other activities a few girlfriends through me a little party. They made YES MADE me this awesome cake, so it sat on display all weekend before we ate it hahaha. Thanks Ally, you made my day.

Fitting I think.

Happy Birthday Big Boy!

It was Makray's birthday sunday! He turned the BIG 3 and boy do I feel old. He has been waiting a long time for this day, so it was sure exciting.

So this is Mak's Mario cake. He has always loved mario, it took 2 dozen cupcakes.... if anyone wants one please come get some!!!!

Emmett was really excited for all his brothers presents!

Emmett got a pillow pet as well. Thank you grandma Marsha the kids have been dying for a pillow pet for months.
The big thing Mak got was a tool station.... I woke up to the power drill at 7 a.m the next morning and it has hardly rested since.

It was a great day!!!!

These are a Few of my favorite things!!!

Better late than never...at least that's my theory. It was Mak's Bday on Sunday and i am more than a little late. However, I wanted to make sure that I jotted down some of the best parts of Makray's long gone terrific twos.

1. You are practically perfect in every way. You are well behaved. You go to sleep early and wake up late. You eat all your food regardless of what I feed you. You love to play. You love to smile. There is nothing more I could ask for in a little boy.
2. You are my little perfectionist. You spend a good part of your day cleaning and organizing. Your brother terrorizes you by mixing up your bins and dumping out your toys. You sometimes have to hold your breath and ball up your little hands to keep from exploding when your things are in disarray.
3. You started out your twos being pretty shy. You stuck to my side for the most part. Nursery was hard for you. You always told me the babies in there were loud and stinky. But recently you have become a little social butterfly. You say hi to everyone and yell "merry Christmas." You love all your buddies and can't wait for primary.
4. You make me laugh all the time. You come up with the craziest things to say.
5. You love being a big kid. You gave up diapers more than a year ago, and now you are awesome at getting up at night to take yourself potty. It is great to have such a grown up boy.
6. You have the most incredible sense of smell. You can sniff out anything stinky or sweet. Your number one quote is, "Hey i smell something!"
7. You are sweet to everyone. You like to make people happy and take a lot of pride into showing kindness to others. You are always more than willing to give up toys and candy to others.
8.You are my bubble boy. You love having lots of friends, but boy do you hate kisses and hugs. It takes a lot for mommy or daddy to get a kiss from you. You don't like to snuggle you just don't have time for it.
9. You are my little wrestler! Boy do I love having someone to wrestle with. You are pretty tough and you are always yelling "say uncle say uncle!" you usually win!!
10. Best of all you are the greatest brother. You take such good care of Emmett, always watching over him and keeping him safe. You put his needs before yours, you are such an amazing example, I know E will be a good boy just like you because he watches you and the good things you do.
