Bathtime Buddies

I have to be honest and admit I'm kind of crazy about my boys these days. They are both at such a fun little age. Mak loves to help with everything and comes up with the funniest things to do and say. Emmett is the most laid back little bugger, nothing makes him fuss and everything makes him smile, he has started scooting a bit on his belly always determined to do things himself. my fave is that they are loving to be together one of there favorite things to do is play in mine and daves great big tub.


Also I have to give a small shout out to bumbo. Bumbo i thought you were the ugliest stupidest thing. I avoided being a bumbo mom as long as i could, but now i have to admit i am addicted. Emmett loves his bumbo and it is one of my top picks for must have baby equitment, coming second only to boppy's travel sized swing.

Underwear Days

So we havent been up to a whole lot, We are having fun just hanging out. Every morning david says, "Mak, want to come to school with me?" and he answers, "No stay home and play with mom." And play is what we do. I realize that makray is in his undies in almost all these pictures, but it makes him happy and yes i promise i get him dressed quite often.

Emmett has really started to interact with everyone. He loves Mak even though mak is kind of scary. Occasionally we have a "picnic" in the living room and emmett loves roll towards mak to steel his mak and cheese.
We have been on a HUGE cooking kick and the boys love to help, yes this is cake dough, what am i thinking? anything that makes them this happy!!!

This toy is for 8 month olds i know. But makray thinks it is a lawn mower. He mows our carpet several times a day.We went to grammys and papas house and holy smokes they have some big carrots. Mak dug them out himself haha.

Mak loves to help my dad cut wood. No my father is not a lumber jack by profession, but he should be hahaha.
So here we sit in our underwear waiting for our banana bread to come out of the oven. And we couldnt be happier

Snow snow and more snow

In Rigby it snowed mounds on new years day.
Put to work
So we got out the sleds of course
Like usual mak had no fear
Dave and I had even more fun than mak
We even jumped on the tramp.
Dave and Mak built a snow man..... they were pretty proud of him
And this STINKER broke TWO teeth this week. I almost died when i stuck my finger in his mouth and felt those tiny little teeth well on their way. Poor little three month old what is he going to do with teeth.

Happy Birthday to MAK

He started his day with donuts for breakfast.
Hot Dogs for lunch
He requested a ball cake so i did my best.

Mak had a great birthday, i can't believe he is two already.

On another note... emmett is doing SO good. He is finally gaining weight well and is growing and eating like crazy. I started him on solids a few weeks ago, it is obviously early but he holds it down better than milk and he loves it as you can see. He has been sleeping through the night for about a month and a half, i put him down at 8:30 and he wakes up smiling around nine. He is still tiny tiny, but he has a huge personality.

We have spent a lot of time with cousins. We went and saw cannon and carters band performance and makray was amazed he yelled and clapped the whole time, and his cousins were awsome

Robison Christmas Party

This is Sisi on of Maks best cousins. They hold hands and jump around all day.

Christmas Day


There were ten little boys at Christmas and we were covered in boy things, they all got little skate boards and jammies on christmas eve.

This was the best christmas EVER. Makray was so excited and happy. Everything he opened he hooted and hollered and even callaped in excitement it made me so happy.
See what i mean about excitement.... who is that excited about Potato Man as mak calls him.
We took a walk in the woods for fresh air.
And burned all the extra wrapping present.

Buds forever.

We tried out the water wings and mak did great. He was so glad to be free in the water with the big cousins.
We had such a fun holiday!!! Thank you Grandmas and Grandpas and cousins for making life extra wonderful!!!

Happy Birthday Big Mak

My top ten Favorite things about my little two year old.

10. I love that people always assume Mak is at least three because he is enormous.
9. Mak prefers grown ups to children. He hated nursery for the longest time because he really hated the children haha.
8. I love that whenever Makray says "excuse me", it always comes out "boobies"
7. Mak has a million nicknames for David and I dont know how he came up with them. Dadzilla, Dadin, and even for a while he called him Edna.
6. Mak sleeps in until 9 most mornings
5. Mak is a miniture Dave, i dont see david a whole lot and i miss him, but fortunately i have a litte Dave all the live long day, and that makes me happy..
4. He talks nonstop so i am never never lonely on long days.
3. Whenever he does something bad that he knows he will be in trouble for(ex. pull down the christmas tree, put a dvd in the video player) he always comes running to me at full speed and the first thing out of his mouth is "I LOVE YOU MOMMY"
2. He is the best big brother in the world, he protects emmett when kids take his toys, he always shares his treats, and there is no one in the world mak loves like he loves emmett.
